Welcome to The TrevorSphere — the personal online space of Trevor Roberts.

I’m a curious, creative South African with a lifelong passion for technology, business, education, English language coaching, history, and the Christian faith. Above all, I’m driven by a desire to understand how things work, why they matter, and how they can be improved to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

For more than four decades, I’ve been exploring life’s biggest questions while helping others, building businesses, developing software, designing websites, teaching English, researching history and theology, and continually learning. Throughout that journey, one principle has remained constant: to seek practical, well-reasoned solutions that genuinely work—not just in theory, but in the real world.

The TrevorSphere grew naturally out of that journey. It is more than a website; it is my personal sphere of ideas, projects, research, writing, and experience, united by a shared pursuit of truth, practical wisdom, and purposeful living. Rather than simply documenting what I’ve learned, this space continues to grow as I explore new ideas, ask better questions, and build solutions to real-world challenges.

Why The TrevorSphere?

The TrevorSphere is more than a website. It’s my own corner of the Internet—my sphere of ideas, creativity, research, software, writing, businesses, and lifelong learning. It’s where I share my work, experiences, and the lessons I’ve learned, in the hope that they will encourage, inform, or help others on their own journeys.

Every project I create, every article I write, every application I develop, every book I publish, and every business I build becomes part of that sphere.

My Life — Where I Come From

I grew up believing that life should mean something—that it should be built with purpose, integrity, and your own two hands. Over the years, I’ve lived on three continents, taught thousands of students, and learned how people from all walks of life strive to build a better future for themselves and their families.

Those experiences shaped who I am. They taught me discipline, curiosity, faith, resilience, and the importance of remaining grounded while continuing to grow. Everything I do today is built upon that foundation.

My Work — What I Do and Why It Matters

I’ve always been a builder—whether of websites, software, courses, businesses, or communities. Software development has been a constant in my life for more than two decades, and teaching has been alongside it every step of the way.

Today, my work spans technology, education, entrepreneurship, writing, and historical and theological research. Whatever the project, my aim remains the same: to create practical resources that help people learn, solve problems, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

My work blends traditional values with modern tools: curiosity, discipline, craftsmanship, consistency, and the willingness to keep learning. As I often remind myself, every day is a new beginning.
