Starting something new can be challenging. There are usually strong feelings involved — part excitement, part fear, and part quiet determination. You stare at a blank screen for months, planning and playing with ideas, second-guessing yourself before you finally get going. Along the way, you might be delayed or side-tracked, but eventually you take control, sit down, and get started for real.
That’s how the TrevorSphere started.
This site isn’t a gimmick or a trend. It isn’t another “growth hack” or social feed. It’s simply the place where my work, experience, and interests come together. A home base for the things I’ve lived and learned, and the things I’m still learning every day.
I’ve spent more than two decades teaching, building, writing, and travelling. I’ve lived in different countries, worked with people from all walks of life, seen cultures and communities, and watched how technology has reshaped everything in front of us. There’s a deep value in tradition — in how things used to be done — but there’s also a great opportunity in where we’re going next.
The TrevorSphere sits right in that space: rooted in the past, wired for tomorrow.
What You’ll Find Here
I created this site to be useful. Not just interesting — useful.
There are plenty of places online where you can get noise. Endless scrolling, dopamine spikes, quick opinions, empty promises. I’ve had enough of that. Most people have. What we need now is clarity. Real skills. Real direction. Something to build with.
So this is what the TrevorSphere offers:
Practical coding
Delphi, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Not theory — working examples, explanations, tools that actually run.
Lifestyle design and intentional living
How to live with purpose, how to structure your days, how to make choices that matter.
Digital nomad stories
What it’s really like to work from different places, the good and the bad. No romantic fantasy, no Instagram gloss — just honest experience.
Entrepreneurship
Small business, freelancing, building income streams. What works, what fails, and what to do differently next time.
Writing and self-publishing
The craft, the discipline, the joy and the frustration. Books don’t write themselves. They get written by showing up.
All of this is connected.
Because life is connected.
Why This Exists
I’ve been online since before most of today’s platforms existed. I remember dial-up modems, floppy disks, early bulletin boards. That era feels primitive now, but it had something valuable: community. People helped each other without trying to sell anything.
Today everything is optimized, monetized, branded. Not necessarily wrong — just different.
But in the middle of all this noise, there’s still room for a simple idea:
Learn, build, share.
The TrevorSphere is built around that idea.
Learn: new skills, new tools, new habits.
Build: projects, careers, businesses, lives.
Share: knowledge, stories, successes, failures.
I don’t claim to have all the answers. Far from it. But I do have experience — twenty-plus years of it across three continents. I’ve taught hundreds of students, built websites, designed systems, worked with clients from medical suppliers to flight schools, and written books along the way.
Every lesson, every mistake, every breakthrough is part of the story.
This site is where that story continues.
How the Website Works
I like things simple. Clear menus, easy navigation, fast pages.
From the homepage, you can step into different areas:
- Blog articles — thoughts, lessons, guides
- Coding projects — examples, snippets, templates
- Lifestyle — habits, travel, personal systems
- Books and writing — process, drafts, publishing
- Membership — deeper content, courses, community
Nothing is hidden behind a maze. If it’s helpful, you can find it. And if you want more — more structure, more accountability, more depth — the membership area is where that happens.
Not everyone needs that; some do.
And when they do, it’s here.
A Place for Builders
In my experience, success isn’t complicated. It’s not glamorous either. People get better by doing small things consistently over long periods of time. They practice. They fail. They get up. They learn something new and go again.
The TrevorSphere is for those people.
People who build.
Coders, writers, teachers, entrepreneurs.
Makers. Doers. Learners.
You might be starting, you might be experienced — it doesn’t matter. What matters is the direction you’re facing.
Building anything meaningful takes time.
I’ve learned that the long way.
There were years when I was moving across countries, juggling classes, writing at night, debugging code at 2 AM. No magical hack. Just work, passion, curiosity. And strangely enough, that’s when I felt most alive.
That’s the spirit behind this place.
Tradition and the Future
We live in a fast world. Everything changes. New tools, new platforms, new trends. But people haven’t changed very much at all. We still want connection, purpose, achievement, rest, meaning.
The old virtues still matter:
- Responsibility
- Discipline
- Craft
- Faith
- Community
- Creativity
Technology is not the enemy of tradition.
It’s the extension of it.
The TrevorSphere respects where we came from, and explores where we’re going. A foot in both worlds — yesterday’s wisdom, tomorrow’s tools.
Why Now?
Because it’s time.
For years, I helped other people build their platforms, write their stories, launch their projects. It’s fulfilling work. But eventually I realized I needed a home base for my own ideas. A place that was mine — not rented on social media or borrowed from another platform.
That’s what this is.
A foundation.
A workshop.
A library.
A studio.
A sphere.
What I Hope You’ll Find Here
More than content. More than tutorials. More than opinions.
I hope you find clarity.
Life is complicated enough already. We don’t need more noise. We need direction. We need practical things we can do today that make tomorrow better.
If you read something here and it helps you make a decision, or learn a new skill, or choose a different path — that matters. That’s the point.
What to Do Next
Explore. Read. Wander around.
There’s plenty here already, and more coming.
If something resonates, share it. If you want more depth, or you want to connect with others doing similar work, the membership will be the next step. I’ll be adding courses, resources, tools, and community features as we grow.
And if you simply want inspiration or direction, take that with you. No strings attached.
There’s room for everyone here.
Welcome
Whether you’re here for code, writing, travel, purpose, or just curiosity — welcome.
It’s taken a long time to get to this starting point. The journey ahead is longer still, and that’s a good thing. I’ve learned that the most meaningful projects are never really finished. They grow as we grow.
The TrevorSphere is one of those projects.
So step in. Look around.
Make yourself at home.
This is where your journey begins. Onward into the TrevorSphere — and beyond.
